Revolution: The Story of the Early Church is worth reading, in my opinion. There's some wishful thinking in it, but overall it is powerful at inspiring a desire for real church life. Hopefully, we'll have a book--or two--out on church life ourselves in the next year or two. It would be nice for their to be a book that does not theorize but talks about church life that is being lived and can be seen and experienced!

Amen Brother!
I hear you and understand what you are saying because I am there today. Nothing satisfies me more than to live in His presense and do what He asks. I cannot find satisfaction in any churches or even my cell group. I think they all just think I am crazy when I tell them God has given me a vision of living as the first believers in the Acts 2 house! And unfortunately I realize now that if they(born agains) feel that way, how can I expect my catholic relatives to understand me?
I do get excited by their messages but I have discovered they have fallen short when it comes to living it out. I have come to the understanding that God has shown me that He calls me out from them and to continue the works of Christ as He asks. What they think of my life is not as important as what I believe.
JESUS LIVES AND OUR GOD REIGNS !!!!!!!!!
