Thy Kingdom Come, Thy Will Be Done, On Earth As Is in Heaven
Framed on living room walls, recited in church services and spoken in hushed tones at funerals, these words have become little more than a Christian mantra. Yet when first given, they expressed the desires and hopes of a real King and His people. We, the people of this same King, must once again ask:
"What is this kingdom? How does it come? How does it continue?"
Challenge Yourself
On June 27th-29th, Rose Creek Village will host their 3rd annual Conference on Church Life. Come join us for a challenging weekend as we explore a radical break from 21st century American Christian Culture.
Topics will include:
- Raising godly children in the midst of a godless age
- How the Gospel has been corrupted by American independence and how to submit your life to the service of God and others
- "The faith once for all delivered to the saints": What it is and how to live the life of the apostolic churches
You will learn down-to-earth, proven practices for living the shared life of Christ. This conference is not for people who want "business as usual," nor for the half-hearted. Rather, it is for people who are tired of theory and not afraid to get their hands dirty with the real and daily work of following Christ.
Speakers
Don’t miss this exciting opportunity to hear the teachings of four men who have dedicated their lives to building the true Body of Christ both globally and in our own country. Listen as they speak of the power of the manifest life of the Church and its ability to transform men from self-serving individuals to a brotherhood of hearts focused on the will of God.
Sessions
Following is a list of the sessions and classes that will be offered at the Community Conference. Sign-up for the sessions will be during the check-in time at the beginning of the conference (Friday morning between 8:00 - 9:15). If you are unable to be there for the sign-up time, please contact us to reserve your place in the sessions of your choice.
Heaven's Family: Loving God and Loving One Another
David Servant
Half of the world's people live on less than two dollars a day. As many as one-third of the world's people have never heard Jesus' name. Only 5% of the world's people live in the United States, a tiny bubble full of wealth. David Servant, who has ministered in over fifty nations, will be sharing exciting and sometimes shocking videos that highlight the impact of the ministry of Heaven's Family around the world. A Q&A session will follow.
Mercy Homes and SALT Ministries
Pastor K.V. Daniel
Mercy Homes provide families for up to 10 orphaned children rescued from the streets of India. These children are raised by trained and carefully selected Christian parents as their own children, and the ministry to orphans is often a powerful, open door in Hindu areas where the name of Jesus has never been heard. SALT, or Save A Life Today, provides money for parents who cannot afford to raise their own children. Come and learn how you can help in this critical work of God in India.
Speaking the Truth in Love
Noah Taylor
Few commands of scripture come with better promises than speaking the truth in love with each other. It is the only way to escape deception and build up the body of Christ. It is more powerful than sermons or teachings. How do we communicate with each other on a spiritual level? How do we maintain the unity of the Spirit while still holding one another accountable? Learn to answer the three questions each person asks before they speak, and open up everyone to real spiritual communication.
ShareSchooling
David Parkerson
Learn about the future of home schooling—you don’t have to go it alone! Collaborative home education—joining other families in the adventure of learning—is becoming more and more prevalent nation-wide. Learn about homeschool laws, creative ways to “link up” with other families, teaching skills, record keeping tricks, networking, support groups, and more.
The Second Hundred Years
Shammah Pavao
Discover the 2nd century Church: their holiness, their unity, their methods of evangelism, and how they joyfully overcame intense persecution. Be introduced to the writers of this period and the impressive faith they lived.
The Myth of Bible Study: Why the Word is Dividing You Rather Than You Dividing the Word
Shammah Pavao
The Scriptures—the writings inspired and given by God to his people—are in danger of dethroning the very God they point to. Let’s talk frankly about what the Bible says about itself, how we got it, and the role of intellectualism in losing “the faith once for all delivered to the saints.”
Celtic Evangelism: An Intentional Mission Community
Patrick Beard
Jesus commands us to make disciples, not converts, and this can only be accomplished in community. Drawing from 27 years of missions experience and the historical pattern of Celtic missionaries, Patrick Beard, Director of Indigenous Outreach International, shares about indigenous missions in Ethiopia and the vision for an intentional missions community called Sanctuary Village.
Home Birth
Haviylah Taylor C.P.M. & Ariel Dickerson C.P.M.
Home birth is a wonderful experience for both mother and child and is a proven, safe alternative to hospital births. Let us share our journey and experiences of God’s miraculous power and presence in home birth. Listen to stories of parents who have learned to hear His voice. This is a great opportunity answer any questions you may have concerning home birth, as this session will be both inspiring and educational.
Nutrition
Haviylah Taylor
Health is not the quest for an unattainable perfection, but the journey toward the best your body, mind and spirit can be. It begins with good nutrition. Eating healthy is not as difficult as it may seem. With knowledge, determination and persistence you can change your lifestyle. Come and learn about improving your health by simply returning to natural, unprocessed foods.

Ladies of Rose Creek Village

Do they get the attention they need? What about the grandmas and the grandpas? What about money?! Learn the answers to these questions and more at the workshop on Living Together.
