Rose Creek Village

A Demonstration of the Life of God

About this entry

On June 15-17 we will host our 2nd Annual Conference on Church Life and the Gospel. The theme will be Corporate Life in the Church Then and Now, with guest speakers K.V. Daniel of Voice of Gospel in India and David Servant of Heaven’s Family Ministries, as well as teachers from Rose Creek Village. Men that are traveling the world with the Gospel, reaching the unreached in India for Christ, and establishing a visible testimony of Christ’s powerful love right here in America will teach practically on both early and modern Church Life and its power. There’ll be questions and answers, worship time, a large corporate meal to fellowship and discuss the things we’ve learned, free time to mingle, music from Rose Creek Village, and more.

Please make plans to attend. If you have not heard these men speak on the subjects they are so passionate about, you are missing a blessing that could literally last forever.

Community: The Corporate Life of the Church Then and Now

The Church, the Ecclesia of God, Christ’s Body manifested in the earth, the pillar and support of the truth, the Bride of Christ. These are all true descriptions of the most amazing life ever seen in this earth. So powerful it caused human beings, probably the most self-centered creatures on our planet, to really love one another, serving each other in humility, taking thought not for themselves, but, rather instead for the lives of others. But where is this life today? In 21st century America, Christianity has become so individualized that it is leaving people isolated and alone, unable to conquer sin or effectively live out the teachings of Christ. Is this compromised way of life the glory of Christ’s salvation?

On June 15th-17th (Friday – Sunday) Rose Creek Village will be hosting our 2nd annual conference on Church life and the Gospel. Speakers K.V. Daniel, from India, David Servant of Heaven’s Family Ministries, as well as Noah Taylor and Shammah Pavao of Rose Creek Village will be examining issues relevant to the practical life of the Church, as it was first revealed on earth 2000 years ago and how it is revealed today. You won’t want to miss this exciting weekend hearing the teaching of these four men who all are presently dedicating their lives to the practical building of the Body of Christ both globally and in our own country. Listen as they speak of the power known in the visibly demonstrated life of the Church, and its ability to transform men from self-serving individuals to a brotherhood of hearts focused on the will of God.

Conference attendants will enjoy fellowship, great teaching, questions and answers, worshipping together, a large corporate meal, time to mingle and talk, music from Rose Creek Village, and more!

Pastor K.V. Daniel (center right, baptizing) of Voice of Gospel MinistriesK.V. Daniel was born into a missionary home in Kerala, India in 1955. As the founder of Voice of Gospel Ministries over the past 32 years he has trained more than 600 missionary pastors to plant churches and shepherd the believers in India. His tremendous love for Christ and heart for the Church is the driving force behind everything he says and does. Daniel is well acquainted with his people’s struggle against poverty and social oppression. As a result he has put into action a vision for Mercy Homes where children can be rescued off the streets from abuse, starvation and exploitation, where they are nourished and educated in a loving environment under the care of godly parents. There are currently 60 of these homes in operation each with the capacity to care for 10 children each. He is also the founder of the Save a Life Today or SALT program that focuses on the problems of infanticide and abortion by enabling people to sponsor a child in India, providing them with food and clothing so their parents can afford to raise them. David Servant with orphansDavid Servant is a former pastor who found himself face to face with his own hypocrisy and faithlessness to the gospel of Christ. His decision to live true to Christ’s teachings cut his congregation in half and eventually caused him to resign his pastorate. He now lives a simpler life with his family and travels around the world teaching, supporting and encouraging believers to hold to true faith in Christ. He is the founder of Heaven’s Family Ministries, a far reaching charity organization, supporting God’s people worldwide, and the author of Through the Needle’s Eye and other titles. He speaks about making practical daily decisions to live for Christ and His kingdom, escaping the entanglements and enticements of the world. He presents the everyday realities of life in foreign countries that put our “needs” in true perspective. www.heavensfamily.org

Noah Taylor, in the midst of a bunch of happy boys at a Mercy Home in IndiaNoah Taylor has spent the last 35 years in seeing the Church become a visible, tangible demonstration. He has wholeheartedly given up his life and time to seeing that men, women and children are built up according to Christ’s calling for His disciples. Rose Creek Village is the result of his teaching and obedience to Christ, a full-fledged village of people who have left everything only to find everything inside the heart of God. He speaks with passion and great authority about the shortcomings of a watered down Christianity that fails to save men from themselves, as well as the glory of the gathered Church, with its unfailing power as Christ’s Body to not only save men but bestow on them the abundant life Christ promised his disciples. He offers as a living letter the hearts of the 250 people he serves God with every day.

Shammah Pavao with two of his children, Leilani and CalebShammah Pavao spent many years of his life searching throughout the United States and Europe for the life of the Church demonstrated and alive. His searching was rewarded when his family united with the believers that make up what is now called Rose Creek Village. Now he, like the believers in Acts, lives in awe every day at the power of God in His people. He is exceptionally learned in Early Church writings and history and frequently teaches on these subjects. He seeks to present the gospel in the light of its surroundings and the lives of the people who first spoke and followed it. The result is a clear and powerful message that leaves theory and hypothesis behind, bringing everything down to the here and now.
